Unlike most of the bitching I have been reading on the Internet surrounding the Zune.  I am hear to say I love it.  I was never really a Microsoft fan until this past year.  I had a realization that while I don't truly agree with their price points for a lot of their software, they do make good products.  Yes I said it.  I know that's its held as a bad thing to say Microsoft programs are good but damn it its nice to have software that setups without having to use your full brain just to get the thing to boot.  Enough about the ranting right now, back to the Zune.

This machine is a great little piece of hardware.  The interface is simple to use and has a lot of useful features.  I will admit that right now the ability of the Wi-Fi to only talk to other Zunes is a little bit of a disappointment but I see great things in the future.  Also the "Zune Marketplace" with the "Zune Pass" is one of the best ideas I have seen.  Much better then paying $1 per song.  I have had this little box for a few days and I setup my trial account for "Zune Pass".  Within two days of having this account I have downloaded over 10GB of music.  I can only imagine how much this would cost in any other way.  I know, I know... when you stop paying you don't have the songs anymore.  Well its only $15 a month and lets me choose what I want to listen too.  Yeah its a little more expensive then satellite radio,  but I can't pick the songs on satellite and I can't watch videos and looks at my favorite pictures.

In my opinion this little juke box is one of the best ones you can buy.  And the FM radio is a great add on.

Good job Microsoft and to the future of the Zune.

-Thank you

Matt
